Pasquale,
I know that when the Max .. came back in '88, (and sold as an '87 in
Canada), with the red and black side cover that it was wearing the
stick on Vmax emblem ... I always thought the embossed side covers
were only on '85s .. but if you have seen a set on an '86 then I
suppose they may have them as well .. but I really didn't think so ...
At any rate .. they for sure they were gone by 88/87Cnd. You know of
course .. that the "stick on" emblem is just that ... and it will come
off.
