A Little "Tick"

I get a little bit of a ticking sound that seems to be coming from the
center of the front right (as on bike) cylinder. It goes away after it warms
up a bit and does not return until the bike sets for a couple of days.  The
bike is a '00 with only 2400 miles on it.  I broke it in right. Any
suggestions and or remedies?  TIA, -Don
