OK, here it get's complicated. My wife wants to go riding with her sister &
brother in law & they have a Wide Glide. So she says to me "How much is a
Harley ?" I'd like to go riding with them. So I took her out on Mr. Max the
other night & while she likes it OK, it's not a Harley & even her sister is
bugging her about it. I wouldn't give up Mr. Max as I like the feel of that
supercharger kicking in when I want that adrenelin rush. I figured if I
could have both bikes, then I could decide what kind if riding I want to do
on any given day plus still have a ride when Mr. Max goes in for more
surgery this summer (supercharger upgrade). I already lost all of last
summer's riding due to the supercharger project. I don't care for the
"Harley attitude" either, but not all Harley riders are like that.
Apparently her sister is though. It's not like I'm being forced into this.
Gotta admit I've always wanted a Harley as a second bike but I would be OK
with a Vulcan or Valkerie too. Considering most "attached" riders have to
battle to keep their rides or to try to justify spending money on them, this
isn't such a bad situation.

when friends??? decide that the bike is the determining factor on who they
ride with, do you really want that type of Harley attitude that you look
down on friends or other riders because of what they ride,we here in Ottawa
have the same type of Harley people( not all mind you)and I just blow these
jerks off. they think HD is the best thing since sliced bread, these people
are not riders but posers well off guy's looking to be seen and the bike is
jewelry. if your friends wont ride with you because you own a max ,Honda
BMW, so what there lose. my .02
