Hey, who you calling old?  As for the wobble, the number one cause is a
slight wheel imbalance that provides a kick to the restoring torque from
trail (self centering effect). This kick causes the wheel to overcompensate
and thus the wobble. The slight dampening of tighter steering head bearings
sometimes are enough to overcome the problem, but if the imbalance is strong
it will not.  So...check your tire and rim assembly are well balanced and
running true. Use a deflection gauge.  Also closely check your tire for
cupping etc...and then double check your SH bearings.
