Terry,
I'm with Don, (who is still using a stock fan in Houston). We
regularly get temps in the 110 - 117 range here in Phoenix ... and I
am still running with a stock fan and switch myself, (already have had
days hitting 100 this week). However ... in regard to fans running all
the time since installing the Borg-Warner switch/equivalent ....

Either the switches are running completely out of range ... or the
thermostats on the affected bikes aren't opening at 180 degrees like
they are supposed to. Obviously, if the thermostat is not open below
the operating range of the fan switch ... then the fan switch will
have a tough time achieving it's shut off temperature.

Perhaps ... for some of these push backs ... the thermostat is the
real problem ... and not the switch ... IMHO ..
