Don,
Thats right !! Sorry I forgot ... you have the "Glendale, Arizona"
radiator ... I knew that .. sigh ... I keep looking at this Royal
radiator .. but there is no way ... it is very long ... They get away
with this because Royal/Venture heads have exhaust pipes that exit at
a 45 degree angle ... ours have to dodge the exhaust pipes ...

I was on a high speed wobble testing ride, (on our favorite road),
last week with two other Vmaxes ... and by the time we finished the
bike was so thoroughly coated with bugs I had to take everything apart
to un-wedge the little suckers .... After taking the end caps and
screen off the radiator it dawned on me just how small our radiator
really is ... I have had it apart before but this is the first time I
really paid any attention to how thin it was. I spent hours on my back
clearing the passageways through this radiator with a tooth pick ...

The radiator looked "clean" on the outside surface with a soap and
water wash ... but close inspection revealed a good percentage of the
passageways completely blocked with little body parts ... I am looking
forward to a noticeable improvement now that more of those air
passages are open .......
