Hey John, Have you tried the advertised technique of draining the oil from
your V-Max after a Prolong treatment and running it. :-) Consumer reports
did and both test vehicles seized in about 15 minutes.
Of course opinions will vary after reading the "snake oil" article,
http://www.geocities.com/MotorCity/2195/snakeoil.html I couldn't put any of
that stuff in my engine. Not a single engine or oil manufacturer endorses
any of these additives for use with their motors. These are the guys that
spend the real dollars in R&D.
You don't have to reply. I just feel the overwhelming need to post a comment
like this when the topic comes up. Of course this is just my opinion, I
could be wrong.
