If you read the ingredients on the bottle you'll find that all the additives
fall into one of the "snake-oil" catagories they mention. They don't mention
every one on the market but I'll bet the ingredients match up. Some folks
say that X1-R is the best one because it doesn't contain PTFE's. This may be
true but for the past 12 years my Max has been doing great with just plain
oil and I am by no means a docile rider.
