for the '94 or '96 VMAX ... I have not had it out .. but it appears
that it is located forward of the tank drain bolt at the bottom ... It
has two bolts itself and drops right out with a gasket. There is a
connector with a green and black wire connected to it. There is also a
"fair" picture of this in the rear of the manual ..... look around
page 8-30 (cable routing) ... at the bottom ... I swear this unit
looks like a variable resistance unit .. the HLSM picture almost looks
like it has a float on it .. but it just can't be true .. as we only
get a on-off indication .. .hmmmmmmm. There are two 6mm screws holding
this thing in .... go take 'em out !! You don't have to drain the tank
but ...
