Has anyone done any work on tricking the V Boost into opening earlier? I read the posting about using an Autometer 2 coil adapter to trick a tachometer into reading correctly, and since the V boost is controlled by the signal from #2 coil, if the signal was doubled by use of a second signal (from the coil on the opposite firing cycle), I was wondering if it's possible to have the V Boost open early;which would give the best of all worlds (I think). The same signal could even be used for both the tach and to fool the V Boost. If it worked, the V Boost would begin to open at 2850 RPM and be fully open by 3000 RPM. This would in theory give good idle characteristics with Stage 7 (or any other jetting kit), and yet be open by the time the real power is made. Any ideas or experience? ............................................. To unsubscribe go to http://www.sayegh.org/unsubscribe.htm .............................................
