DON'T DELETE YET.... I want to explain to all of you how this list works and the results of a bad e-mail account. When someone sends a post to the list it goes out to about 400 people. Here is what happens when someone has a bad e-mail account, changed e-mail address, stops their internet service, down ISP, or a problem in routing (not even your fault) All that mail off the list for ANYONE having one of these problems, gets returned to the list owner (me) For instance if 5 people are having mail problems and there are 40 messages that are sent out to each, I get 200!!!! returned messages that are "undeliverable" plus the 40 from the list. In addition the server continues to try to deliver and each time it fails it sends me back more messages. Now, some of this is normal and expected and I don't mind. However, when people just decide to drop their internet service or change their address but not unsubscribe is rude! The service I provide everyone is free to you and I enjoy it very much but it is work and takes time. I only ask that those of you who are here give a little courtesy in return by addressing these issues so that I continue to enjoy administering and providing this free service. When it is no longer a joy to administer, the list will stop. The vast majority of people on this list are very considerate and I thank you, only a few are inconsiderate about this and I hope that understanding how the list works will change that. I am subscribed on other motorcycle mail lists and I must say this is the best and most polite group of enthusiasts I have ever seen (just what you would expect from a V-Max owner) Thanks for listening and giving your future cooperation.
