I am stuggling a bit with my gearbox. Thanks to Erik de Jong I finally got a look at the gears from Eiffelmax.
Now I want to compare them to the Royal Star gears. Guess that I just order the RS ones to have a look. According to the info I have go t until now it should work out to use these gears instead of the standard ones.
What I also like to know is how to calculate the speed in each gear when I do changes:
- what is the number of teeth on the 1st pinion
- what is the final drive ratio
I bet someone of you did this before. Excel sheet maybe? When I finish mine I will notify you so you can have a look.
