warning lights fail,

Hi all

Did a 250-mile trip today and Have had both the oil and low fuel warning
lights fail,
Both bulbs are sound I have checked the loom plugs are OK, Sooooo does
anyone know if there is any one thing that links these two warning bulbs
or where do I start?
