You "were" talking about side covers and not scoops ... (hey !! that
geofrog guy makes those too). IMHO .. if he used the stock type
aluminum covers .. nothing would stay on them better than a powder
coat, (a lot of leg traffic there ... ) ....... but the advantage of
using paint is that you can always blast it off of there if you think
there is a chance it might not be your final decision ... (nothing
looks worse than paint flaking off of aluminum .. ).

You sure can get "black" factory stuff ... Check out the '96 parts on
HLSM ... the exhaust and wheels on that microfiche are black ... (and
of course the '94 microfiche has the natural aluminum finish). There
is always someone wanting to trade the stuff it seems.
