I have a 99 Max with 7,000 miles. Just reciently I had a problem with the driver's
side front carburetor. The float seemed to stick. Mr. Max was pouring gas out of the
top vent tube on the driver's side of the fake tank. I taped the carb body with the
handle of a screwdriver and the problem disappeared. Two tanks of gas latter I now
have a popping noise coming from exhaust at 3,500 to 4,500 rpm's. If I roll on the
throttle, it stops. I just recently installed a MSD shifter light. Untill now Mr.
Max has not seen to many V-Boost accelerations because I did not want to redline him.
Now with the shifter light set to 9,000; I have been having a hell of a time. You
guys have helped me in the past!!! What shoul I do to slove the popping?
