john my best friend has a 900rr and it depends who gets the holeshot, whoever 
does stays ahead , if its me he will take me again at a higher speed ((never 
looked to see how fast), i seem to have a much easier time off the line , he 
stands it up alot, his is a 93 with a pipe , must be nice to have two bikes, 
if i could have another bike i wouldnt mind a rr at all or maybe a r1 , or 
maybe even a ( putting on my fire suit)  hayabusa,  hehehe ;^)     flame away
