I can relate to this. I have a Suxuki RF900R, that we did a lot of 2 up on,
but complaints from the pillion were mounting. A number of test rides on
sedate Vtwins did not produce a winner, so the VMax was the logical choice.
Same feedback as below from the shop, 2 of the spouses like life on the back
of a Max better than most any other bike. Only had the Max 2 weeks so no
long term opinion yet. We will be doing the Blue Ridge end of June so I'll
let you all know. Plan to keep the RF as my solo mount. Going to outfit
the MAX with bags and new suspension (Race tech in front, Works out back
over the winter).
I had the 900 before I got married and my wife wanted a bike we could both
ride and the only one she liked was the Vmax. I couldn't believe I was that
lucky! Quite a few of my friends wives have made them get rid of their toys
or won't let them get any new one's.
