hello all, need your help. i installed a mechanical (for a more accurate
reading) oil press. gauge on my max, i made a fitting to take the place of
the plug located under the water pump. i used 1/8" npt ss fittings and 1/8 ss
capillary tubing for the supply line. seeing that the tubing drains back into
the oil reservoir when the bike is shot off, then fills with air when max is
restarted, it should be bleed every time to get the accurate reading. my
question is, has anyone ever tried this and did you use a check valve? where
did you get it? I've tried to locate a check valve that small, it's nearly
impossible to find one that's not real big and ugly.
