I'm pretty sure he means a floor lift in which case he may need some type of
supports built specifically for it.
BTW Doug, now that I'm in Sac, maybe we can hook up some weekend.

if your talking about a floor jack i think you'll
need two people and a couple of jack stands as well.
i'd imagine you can do it alone but it's too dangerous.
you basically use the jack stand and find a spot under
the engine between the pipes and carefully lift it up.
you may need a small block of wood or something to
get better clearance from the pipes. then you put
a jack stand under each side on the part of the frame
near the rear foot pegs....
