I can assure you that it goes egg shape simply by torquing the swingarm
bearings because I measured it. 4.5 lbs torque caused a .010" egg shape in the
driveshaft tube. Think what happens when you ride two-up and hit a bump in a
turn. A .125 thick tube pressed inside and welded cures that problem.
