Hey Guys, Gals

    I am interested in finding a serious buyer for my Max. The Bike can be
seen on Paul's site under riders mods "Max Deviate"
  It is a 1989 Candy Apple red Max 49 state bike with 21,250 miles on it. The
bike has been well kept. It is set up for a 200 lb. rider right now. I have

    * Special motor mount plate (my own design)
    * "Old Man Don Smith" Oil filter adapter
    * the bike has a "Dale Talker" V-Boost servo swith on it, (It was
there when I bought it)
    * Aluminum Frame connecters from Action
    * Frame has been cecked for straightness and gusseted around
swingarm for strengthening.
    * Swingarm is braced and sleeved.
    * 17 x 5.5 Dymag rear (gold)
    * Dunlop 207 x 180\55 zr 17
    * 17 x 3.5 Dymag front (gold)
    * Dunlop 207 120\70 zr 17
    * 17 inch speedo drive
    * Brembo 4 piston calipers (gold)
    * New master cylinder (front)
    * Ducati 320 mm Free Floating disks drilled (that's right)
    * Ductile Iron rear drilled Disk with new pads
    * Glafer steel braided line rear, Brembo front braided lines
    * Tamborini / Paioli 54 mm USD forks (compression, rebound, preload
all adjustable in seconds)
    * Ducati "real" Carbon fiber front fender

    * New flyscreen
    * Stock case guards
    * Fiam horns
    * Halogen head lamp
    * EVERY fluid in the bike is "NEW," synthetic or Dot 4
    * The bike comes with all the stock parts including.
    * Carb parts, needle and seat, gaskets, assorted fuel jets,air bleed
jets fuel filters

    * 2 new Dunlop 591's on stock mags, Mags are silver\ gold like 89

brace (looks stock and fits fender properly) New
        Lower bearing/seal.
    * And all the stock stuff such as blinkers, muffler etc...

    This bike runs strong and has none of the known troubles we all know
about. I got it off an older gent who was the second owner.I got the bike
with 18,600 it has had 1,000 miles on it since the restoration and mods.The
bike is nice and fresh. I have had it to 140 mph and it does just fine and
stops on a dime. It will do 100 in the corners and it goes over to the foot
pegs. It has good ground clearance with the 17's due to the front end. It is
set up to cruise the street and for fuel mileage. On the cosmetic side up
close, it has a few "small" nicks in the paint, a little clear peeling back,
but nothing to kick it out of bed for. I have new black and candy paint for
it, I was just waiting to change the tail piece to a single seat before
painting the bike. All the rest is polished aluminum. Engine is Black and
gold like the 89's and scoops on this bike are silver not black.
    I regret selling this bike. It means a lot to me. There will be one lucky
Maxer out there if we come to terms. The addition of my daughter last year to
our family, and the fact I have to go in for shoulder surgery will do me in
for this year and possibly longer. I will have very little time for Mr Max.
    If you read this far you must be interested. I thank you for taking the
time. I have pictures in detail for those who are interested. The bike is in
the San Francisco Bay Area. I am asking $15,000 and have all the receipts. If
it sounds like a lot, think about a new one costing around $12,500 and
handling like a garbage truck with flat tires. PCW wants $10,000 to $15,000
to set one up right, plus the cost of the bike, and then wait, wait, wait.
For those who have spent the time and money fixing all the VMax ailments, I
think you can agree its not too bad, especially for a turn key bike with no
wait.
If you or any one is interested, You can contact me through Email and we will
set up a phone conversation.

Thanks to all for your support over the days, and to those who took time to
read this.

Sincerely,
Ian Cameron
