OK Steve,

I just ordered a unit for my 1999 Max and the one they are sending is
the: 980512P1/C. (One way or the other you must state the bike you have and the year).

It comprises:
    1 Control Unit "RC" type
    1 fitting bracket and strap
    1 bi colour led assembly
1 O&M manual on foppy disk
    1 Plug-in chip (VTAC 301)

It will work in our bikes once it reaches the red led as if you had cut the ignition,
orange will warn you you are in the limit. It can all be personally adjusted, but they
offer all technical advice you might need.

In my case I have also purchased the SPA dual REV/SPEEDO unit which has three led
lights included in the sphere and I will use the yellow and red to warn me directly
from the tacho unit where I stand at all times.

The quartz display will take care of the speed info amongst other things.
