Not following this at all.You got the engine back disassembled?Anyway the
left rear sitting on the bike is #1 and you will find marks on both cams on
the end for timing purposes.They number or stamp the cam shafts and most
good shops will stamp pistons and all the associated parts for balancing
purposes.I worked in a machine shop for a number of years for high
performance automotive and we would match rods to pistons and cylinders
etc.Bob H
