Phil,
Start with this page;
http://www.angelfire.com/ia2/vmax/stainlessclutchline.htm

Then look at some others if you get interested.
To make a long story short. SS lines are more than nice,
they perform. Better braking and much better clutch
reaction. If you are above the beginning level of rider,
you will really, really like SS lines. More than worth the
money. Ernie is a gem to order from. Your big decision
will be to use the stock, five line type of set or the four
line set that does away the splitter. I used the five line
and do not have four line pics. There are some on different
pages if you search. Some of the guys say doing away with
the front splitter improves front braking. Maybe, but
probably not a factor for most average Vmax riders. IMO the
decision is on the basis of what kind of looks you want. If
I were to install again, I could not tell you right now
which I would select. I like what I have, but would be
happy with the two single lines up front.

I do not have the pages ready to upload on the brake lines,
but there are some pics on the photopoint.com albums. The
albums regarding brake lines have random pics right now, but
I have been pecking away sorting them, so will change
periodically.
The clutch page gives you enough info to start, you can post
back if you need anything. And if you should happen to get
lines and need help with installation, you can post back, or
I will also get motivated to at least get the brake albums
sorted and a rough draft page up. Do remember however, I am
mechanically pretty basic, so can only help with basic
stuff. Later, Z#169
