I did this with a 190 tire, a 200 series I checked into does not look any
wider......the reason is simple, I had to cut my 190 tire to fit on notched
side. I am using a Michilin, Macdam 90x, great tire! I had my rear OEM rim
converted, matted to a 17 inch rim by 5.5 wide. At 5.5 it really only
excepts a 180 series, but I hunted brands of rear tires until I found one
that would not cup when placed in rim, (surface area on road contact). The
notching or widening of the swingarm was done by PCW.....it was a major
headache for them and for me, the reasons.....I wanted my rear rim on center,
not off set 1/4 of an inch like most, (just me being picky), the other
problem was the header system I am using, Kerker 4 into 1. PCW does not
brace swing arms for kerker systems.......they just failed to ask me what
system I was running before they began cutting and welding......John did keep
trying, and yes we have got it figured out now. I felt like I was doing R &
D for them but atleast I am not breaking drive shafts anymore. Get back to
