Air pressure doesn't matter much. Bugs and rocks do. Fork seals should last
a loooooong time, depending on how much you ride, but even the slightest
nick in the fork will trash them forthwith, and, if the fork isn't properly
smoothed before the seal is replaced, you'll be replacing them again soon.
If you leave the bike in the garage at 70 degrees and never ride it, they're
probably good for at least 15 years before the neoprene deteriorates enough
to notice.
