hi, yes ive put a 94 front end on my 88 , i think it has made it a little more solid feeling, and the braking was definatly improved, but dont know if its worth the hassle and expense unless you have one laying around or can get one real cheap, you may just want to get a fork brace and better calipers and rotors, i had one i had bought with a bunch of other parts and sold my 88 to someone (shall remain nameless)that needed to repair his smashed one (brian k), so it worked out good for me, and yes the late model triple trees bolt right on, also a good time to rebuild the forks and do the furber/sayegh fix. , and put galfer lines on, IMO, Vinny Giglio VMOA 1009 NJ .............................................
