Phil,
if you raise the needle by putting the clip in a lower notch you have made it
richer in your midrange.. count the notches from the top down... 1st or top
notch LEAN 5th or bottom notch RICH..
did you move the clip up ????

Ok, I have managed to confuse myself. Which way do my needles go to make
the carb run leaner/richer. I don't understand what that hole that the
needles are sitting in does. Let more fuel in or air ? Someone enlighten
me please.
