Kraig,
Nothing happened to it ... but with the cost of throttle bodies,
(found some nice ones by the way), and even a conservative ECU I
really can't see it happening for much less than 2K, (perhaps $1750 or
so if we were really lucky and didn't make any dumb $ mistakes in
component selection) ..... I think Terry found the cheapest ECU that
would work in a batch mode for under 1K .. and he pointed out that
with a decent manifold we could save some money on throttle bodies
instead of having one for each cylinder ..... and Steve found somebody
offering machining services in return for consideration on the
finished product. My "individual" throttle body per cylinder
arrangement, (looking cool counts plus I would like to keep the vboost
cross over path), requires spacers under the original manifolds to
move them in towards the center to a 120 x 90mm carb bore center
arrangement, (injector and filter clearance), instead of the stock 140
x 100mm configuration.
Sooooooooo ... my interest will refresh when my Lucent stock gets back
up to where it was in December .. (poor form to spend it when it is
laying
on it's back).
Otherwise ... at least for me ... this it not currently at the top of
my
"buy me now you idiot !!" list ....... Sorry ... not forgotten .. just
waiting
for another dump truck full of undesignated cash to unload in the
driveway ....
