The manifold we are building is for the blower and I was using two Ford
ranger throttle bodies linked together on top of the blower. We went
mechanical because nobody had a ECU that was readily adaptable to the Vmax
and we didn't want too many "one-off" electronic parts to have to fiddle
with at the track. However, with the advent of the Holley Projection 4DI
(HUGE throttle body) and now MSD's ECU both of which are programmed with a
laptop computer we are now leaning toward EFI for ease of tuning at the
races. The nice thing about the MSD system is that will accept alcohol
without modifications. But you really got me thinking about how to adapt it
to the street.......
