Aaaaagh!!!! It's an epidemic!

We've had three cases of this in the past couple of months. There seem to be
two major things to look for:
1. Make sure the gas tank venting is working properly. If the problem
recurs, try taking off the gas cap. If you hear inrushing air, your vent is
blocked in some way.
2. Apply some insulation between the back cylinder bank and its attendant
exhaust and coolant plumbing and the fuel lines/pump etc.

The symptoms are of fuel starvation resulting from either vapor lock or fuel
tank vacuum.

Good luck.

Best,
Sat Tara
