Because it is a '94 ... I will bet my $.50 on the pickup coil swinging
open, (the Howie syndrome). Assuming you could crank etc but no
interest in firing. A cheaper problem to fix that could have the same
symptoms would be a fuel tank vent blockage ........ which you could
verify by removing the gas cap the next time this happens.
