Welcome Randy. As far as salvage yards go, it all depends on where you
live. Here is a link that may help you out:

Some people run with constant Vboost. As I understand it, your idle
will be a bit choppier. There have been several posts on how to
temporarily engage constant Vboost. One of the connectors on the Vboost
servo needs to be pulled out while the bypass valve is in a open
position during the servo cycling prior to starting. I have not yet
tried this. You may want to search the archives for additional
