Hi ya'll, I know I'm not the only one with this problem and I really don't
want to beat a dead horse, but I'm new to this site and of course the
discussions. I own a 1990 Max that's in relatively good
shape. Bought it brand new. I don't do any racing or anything like that. I
just use it for everyday riding pleasure (not long rides either - my ass
can't take that seat for very long). Of course, I love
my bike but the one thing that drives me nuts is the steering instability if
you take your hands off the
handgrips. The wobble and vibration is very annoying. I thought it was just
a problem with my bike until I read some info. from this site. I'm not
really sure on what remedy to go for since I don't have
a lot of cash and time. Does anyone know anything about steering dampers
used on this bike?
Do they work? Are they necessary? And if they do work, where can I get one?
I appreciate any or all advice.

Thanks,

G
