I put this problem on the net the net a few months ago I got answers of too
much oil in the engine and some other things. One subscriber I don't remember
who said to look at the chamber inside the air box that the crankcase vent
hose connects to three screws hold this item down there is a cheap foam
gasket in a groove there Yamaha wants 7.50 for this item I have a 85 max so I
used the large o ring from the oil filter it fits perfect with a little
streching price o used one works fine ..I still put 4 quartrs of oil in the
engine as the manual says 48000 miles no problems no oil
in the air box now...Thanks to whomever gave
