These helmets are French and come in two styles. One
is an open faced style which comes with a separate
rubber/foam face mask and the other has a flip down
chin bar similar to the Nolan 100. I have the latter
type. IMHO the helmet is a good buy, it is light
and stylish as well as being practical. You can also
get smoked visors for these helmets although the
British government is currently trying to outlaw these
even for track riding let alone road use.
The only downside I have discovered is the lack of air
vents which makes the helmet uncomfortably hot at
times. I don't know what it is like in the colder
months because I have not had it that long.
I paid 200 UK pounds for mine and they are widely
available within the UK. I would be most surprised if
they did not have US distribution outlets.
I like my Roof helmet but I don't think it will be
practical for the winter months and wet weather due to
the lack of ventilation. I still have my old ARAI
helmet so it's no big deal.
Cheers
Steve
