The split fires are a bunch of BS. They do not help at all. There is a big
law suit here in the states that is trying to make the split fire people pay
a bunch of penalties do to false advertising. In as far as gas milage...
The harder you ride MR. Max, of course the worse milage you will get. I get
43MPG in the highway. This is with 42PSI in the front and rear, 2000 pounds
of gear, and doing a constant 80MPH for 4 hours non-stop. In town, when
that MSD shift light is constantly lighting up, I have been known to get as
low as 22MPG. You seem to enjoy the acceleration, so that is your fuel
problem. You are having too much fun!, but then again that is what Mr. Max
is all about.
