I just went through this...there is 2 products I know of...Blue Shield or Dyno Cote. I 
used the Dyno kote but I'm still getting some discoloration in the top part of the 
pipes. You may want to try spray painting the inside with hi-temp engine paint. this 
would be easier to apply as well. It may be the problem is just unavoidable though...
