We all have the choice to wear, or not.  The only difference is we have
different sets of consequences.  Sometimes the consequences are a
fine/ticket, sometimes it may be insurance not paying up, or it could be the
result of dragging your face across 500 feet of asphalt and splitting your
skull in two on a guard rail.  Of course, the consequence could be looking
really kewl and feeling the wind in the hair.  We select the likely
consequence by the choice.

That being said, I don't advocate mandatory wear laws.  We already have too
much government control.  Know the risk, make the choice.  Everything is
risk management.

Hmm, I wonder if driving like a bat out of hell is minimizing the risk.
What the hell!!  It rocks!!!
