Maybe you're right, it feels a bit stiff but basically ok and it's too much
trouble to change the springs now, I live in Sweden

Maybe I just explain badly. What i meant was that with 26mm preload the
front was too high when sitting on the bike. The bike steered badly and I
would have had to rise the forks through the triple clamps to get back to
"normal". With 16mm preload, the front is about the same level as stock.
Maybe with softer springs this would have been different. But RaceTech
actually recommended 1.0 before I chose .95 on tech list recommendations.

What difference should I expect to feel from adding the extra 2 oz of oil?
If I'm not experiencing any "mushyness", even during heavy braking, and the
suspension feels at bit on the stiff side, what would be the benefit of an
extra turn on the emulators. Won't that make them even stiffer?
