Recently I repacked my muffler with regular bike muffler packing from the
bike shop. Well it has started to get loud again and there was a rattle
inside so I opened it back up thinking that maybe the packing had settled
and I was going to put another layer on....................Well there was
nothing left but about 2" that was covered by the cone before the screen!!
The rattle was from the lockwire that I used to secure the packing. Some
that was left was acutally melted!
Any ideas??
