I kinda expected something like this, and also, I don't really expect
SPA-DESIGN to maintain international database babysitting everyones LEGAL
mileage per COUNTRY.....
>It's bases is the rolling circumfrence of the tire . You can go
as high as a 4.999

ok, the circumferance data....you say "as high as" well, to clock
up the fastest mileage, you need to know "minimum allowable circumference"
this will tell you the best duty cycle of the frequency generator that
you can use. and as for the waveform itself, my best guess on the sensor
is that it operates simply as a switch that is opened and closed.
again, this is why i would like to have a schematic as it would reduce
the discovery time as to how everything works.
the sensor could be working as a simple on/off switch, or it could
be switching in a 5-12volt pulse. either way, we dont want to exceed
the stock voltage levels that the sensor provides.....

I personally am not going to loose sleep over this idea because i cant
do anything about it until i get a working unit to play with $$$..
again, I dont expect SPA to ofer this service no mater what form your mileage
would be afixed to the unit, either stamped or programmed. Having
it programmed into the odometer is the mission here, and to do that without
babysitting your drill or freq. generator.....

again, my intentions are to load your mileage in less than 10 seconds.
You still have to babysit for hours, depending on your mileage, if you
use a drill and magnet setup or even a frequency generator. This
waiting time is based on the maximum speed that the circuit is designed
to accept, meaning that the speedometer may only go upto 160mph, but the
CIRCUIT might be able to acurately accept a frequency equal to say 300mph.
the higher the circuits ability, the less time you have to wait for your
mileage to add up..
as i said earlier, i am not going to loose sleep over this idea, because i dont see a SPA unit in my posesion any time soon, and without that I cant do anything about it. This is just something that could be a nice perk to go with the digital odometer. Its a real bitch to keep track of the mileage on my bike, my stock speedometer is broke so i used some large wire ties and attached an old abicus to my handle bars. ;-)
