Recently tried X-1R in my '00 Max with ~500 miles since an oil/filter change
(~5000 total). I chose to wait a few miles after the oil change before
adding the X-1R to reduce that variable in my rather unscientific evaluation
of the product. I just drained out the required amount of oil (Yomama's) &
topped off with X-1R.
Since the last 500 miles using the aforementioned product in a safe and
lawful manner, albeit with occasional semi-safe operations and possible
infractions of local speed postings, I have noticed:
1. Temperature dropped about 3RCH's on the temperature indicator, that is -
just a little ; ). This was good for me because now that Borg Warner switch
for the fan isn't completing the circuit quite as often. Staying a bit
cooler in Florida's hot & humid summer without the constant warm blast on my
legs.
2. Neutral is just a little bit easier dropping in.
3. MPG up .3 gallons
4. $12.95 gone from my wallet
Evaluation summary: Data insufficient. Let's see what happens after the
next oil change when I add less X-1R.
