thanks for your suggestions on installing the emulators.

as for my VBoost... when i connect wires directly from the battery to the 
connectors that lead to the servo motor i can hear/see the servo motor for 
maybe 2 - 3 seconds.  but when i do the connector to the lead out of the 
control box i get nothing.  also, following the other steps in the service 
manual, i figured it was the control unit that was shot.
