You can use an air impact wrench to loosen the
dampers BEFORE removing the caps and springs.  Catch
the oil in a bucket.  My emulators are set at three
turns and I run with 20w oil and no air.  My spacer
length is cut too 9.37 inches as per the instructions
that came with the Progressive springs.
