Thanks to all who responded about rear tire suggestions on my 94VMAX.
Asking for tire advise is kinda like asking for motor oil
opinions......Ask 5 people, you
get 5 different answers............Usually when I can't decide what to
pick I stick with
the orginal equipment. The orginal stuff may not be the best set-up
possible, but at least
I know I'm not gonnna go out and crash my bike because I've radically
changed the
handling with some mod that I wasn't used to yet.
Couldn't find the orginal Dunlop K525 tire anywhere untill after Oct
13 so I went with
the Dunlop K591 .....several people suggested different "H" rated tires,
but I wanted to
stick with a "V" rated one.
One question: does anyone in the group own the multi-purpose "throw
over" panniers
sold on Exactreps site ??? Panniers ??? These look like throw over
saddle bags to me.
