I have to agree with Kosy. It took some time to get used to the throttle action on
the FCR's but once you get it it is great. My bike has tons of torque over 88 lb/ft
at 6k rpm annt much more throught the entire range.

The bike pulls harder on any RPM if properly tuned just because the FCRs
atomize fuel better. Keep in mind that these carbs are mechanical so you
will have to adjust you driving style as they are not forgiving in over
throttle situation. There is no springs and vacuum mechanisms. But once you
get used to them, you will never go back ;-) Also a big plus is the
tunability. Much better and easier as you don't have to remove the carbs to

PS. A tourmaster will make 150+ hp with the stock carbs and 160+ with the
flat sides on a shaft drive.
