Jim,
I've had the exact same experience with the Dunlops vs. Bridgstones. I've
gone back to the Dunlops several times. The Metzler Me33 Lazer front also
felt squirrly on my '85 Max.
You may want to check the archives for other recommendations. I'm going to
try some of the other tires guys on the list have mentioned the next time I
get new rubber even though I like the Dunlops. There's always room for
improvement.
