First question ....
Is it worth buying laser pro-stock end cans for my V-MAX? I am still in a
quandry about it and I'm not sure whether to take the plunge or not. I have
been told that the pro-stock race can sound great and releses a few more bhp
but does the bike need re-jetting of retuning in any way?
Second question....
What is the consensus of opinion on tyres with you lot out there? They need
replacing again! The originals were Dunlops and I fitted Bridgestones as the
second set at about 4000 miles. I have managed to get about 4000 miles from a
set of tyres but I was not really happy with the bridgestones they seemed to
squirm about a lot when put under cornering stress. I am considering going
back to the Dunlops they seemed more stable and less squirmy (if there is
such a word).
Does anyone have any other suggestions taken from experience?? Mileage is
really not a worry. Stability and handling on uneaven and badly maintained
Scottish roads concerns me more.
