Jim,

This is Charles, right now living in Spain and would like too help you out regarding
the Laser exhaust slip-ons. I have a set but was crazy enough to get the street legal
version. The looks were great, but the performance of my 2000 Max dropped down by a
few ponies. the system was quieter than the standard. I'm talking about a European
limited power Max. I installed a Dynojet Stage seven, K&N individual filters and
removed aided by a stainless steel specialist the small baffle fitted at the end of
the exhaust system.

The power gained was outrageous and I run out of tyres before I was over the 2000
miles. Brake pads were also part of the deal. sound from the pipes was also
awesome......... but still I thought I could get more.

If you get a set of Laser cans, get the fully open type and go for the Stage 7 Kit
from Dynojet. use the individual K&N filters and normally you will get maximum power
from the 165 mains. The bigger ones just make your engine run too rich.

K&N and S7K make the bike lose its low mid range punch, but there is a way to overcome
this problem, just ask.

Regards,
Charles ( [EMAIL PROTECTED] )
